The oldest records of Dias Ruivo – Leathers and Products, Lda., concerning its activity date back to the year of 1936, when the head manager of the company was the grandfather of the current partners.

When he started his activity the drums were still impelled by hand!
Later, in the year of 1945, the second generation assumed the management of the company, having started with the industrialization and modernization of the enterprise.

The actual production unit has its localization in Avintes and throughout the years it has gradually suffered several changes to increase its productive capacity, versatility and competitiveness.

Today, the company is managed by the third generation of the family, the partnership is composed by three partners, Maria, Manuel and Emília Dias. Each one manages different sections, but major decisions and management are made together. This leadership wouldn't be possible without a perfect understanding with the skilled and hard working team of workers at Dias Ruivo Lda.
